Thank you. Your hall is five steps away.

Your licence key is in your order, under Software. The Relay program turns it into your guild's hall.

The key stays in your order. Paste the same key again any time, for example on a new PC.

  1. 1 Install the free UpQuest addon

    Log in on your guild master character and type /reload once. The Relay program reads your guild from what the addon saves. Already playing with the addon? Update it to the newest version first: the hall needs 1.18.0 or newer, and this download is the newest. Then type /reload once.

  2. 2 Download the Relay program

    It runs on Windows. Extract the zip anywhere and double-click UpQuestHearthRelay.exe. Windows may ask you to confirm the first start.

    Already running a Relay? Press "Stop the relay" in its window first, then start the new one.

  3. 3 Open Guild Hall, then Licence, and paste your key

    In the Relay program press "Guild Hall", then open the Licence page. Copy the whole licence key from your order, under Software. Paste it into the Licence page and press "Use this licence". The UpQuest site checks it once.

  4. 4 Follow the six steps on the Set up page

    Open the Set up page. It lists these six one-time steps, about five minutes:

    1. Make a free Cloudflare account at cloudflare.com and confirm the e-mail it sends you. No card is needed.

    2. In Cloudflare open "My Profile", then "API Tokens", and press "Create Token". Choose "Edit Cloudflare Workers".

    3. If the page asks which accounts and zones the key is for, choose your account and "All zones". Then press "Continue to summary" and "Create Token".

    4. Copy the key at once: Cloudflare shows it only once. Paste it into the Relay program. It stays protected on your PC and is only ever sent to Cloudflare. A key made under "Manage Account" works too.

    5. In game, on your guild master character, type /uq hall claim and type the six-figure code into the Set up page. Then type /reload once so the game saves it.

    6. Choose a short name for the hall's address and press Set up the hall. Leave "Account id" empty unless your key reaches more than one account.

    Cloudflare moves these screens now and then. What you need is a key that may edit Workers on your account.

    About a minute after you press "Set up the hall" the program tells you your hall's address. A new address can take a few minutes to open. The program keeps trying by itself.

  5. 5 Share your hall with the guild

    On the Status page, "Open the hall" shows it in your browser. Share its address with the guild.

    On the Look page you choose the hall's name, colours, crest and welcome. On the Guild chat page you choose off, members only, or public. Chat reaches the hall only after the guild master types /uq community enable once in game (and /uq community screen enable for chat while Live). Your hall is live while the Relay program runs with Live on and you have typed /uq hearth live on in game, with the game in front. Otherwise it updates each time you type /reload or log out of the game.

    Your hall takes your guild tabard's colours by itself, unless you pick colours of your own. The emblem picture stays in the game; the hall shows its crest in your colours. Switch on "Follow my guild tabard" on the Look page to go back to the tabard's colours. Following the tabard needs the newest addon and Relay program, and a guild tabard designed at a tabard vendor in game.

Key not accepted?

Copy the whole key from your order, under Software. Own UpQuest Premium too? Copy the key from your Guild Hall order, not the Premium one. If you bought a moment ago, wait a minute and try again. The key goes into the Relay program, not into the game. Bought a second licence for another guild, or bought again after a refund? If the key is refused, message us from your order.

Set up page says no?

Log in on your guild master character, type /uq hall claim for a fresh code, then /reload. The code is good for ten minutes. In the Relay window, Publishing must be on. Cloudflare refused? Press the link in the e-mail Cloudflare sent you, then try again.

Hall not opening?

A new address can take a few minutes. Open Guild Hall, then Status, and press "Check the hall". The Status page says what is wrong and what to do next.

E-mail FeebledGamer@gmail.com, message us from your order, or ask in the UpQuest Discord. Never send your licence key or your Cloudflare key: we do not need them. If the hall could not be set up, ask for a refund within 14 days (see the refund policy).

Only the guild master can set up a hall. The rest of the guild needs only the free addon. The hall is fed by the guild master's Relay program alone. One licence is for one guild's hall. Lead a new guild? The Relay program asks once, then moves your hall to it. Its address stays the same. Moving the hall needs the newest Relay program: download it again from this page. Your hall runs on your own Cloudflare account and keeps running if our site is down. The Guild Hall page lists everything the hall shows.
