For guild masters. One licence is for one guild's hall. What you need
Check these before you buy. Everything here but the licence is free.
About twenty minutes the first time. After that, updates are one click.
Log in on your guild master character and type /reload once. The Relay program reads your guild from what the addon saves, so it needs the addon first. Already playing with the addon? Update it to the newest version first.
One payment, no subscription. One licence is for one guild's hall.
After paying you land on our set-up page. Your licence key is in your order, under Software.
Download the Relay program, extract the zip anywhere and double-click UpQuestHearthRelay.exe. Open Guild Hall, then Licence. Paste the key from your order and press "Use this licence".
Already running a Relay? Press "Stop the relay" in its window first, then start the new one.
Open Guild Hall, then Set up. The page lists these six one-time steps, about five minutes:
1. Make a free Cloudflare account at cloudflare.com and confirm the e-mail it sends you. No card is needed.
2. In Cloudflare open "My Profile", then "API Tokens", and press "Create Token". Choose "Edit Cloudflare Workers".
3. If the page asks which accounts and zones the key is for, choose your account and "All zones". Then press "Continue to summary" and "Create Token".
4. Copy the key at once: Cloudflare shows it only once. Paste it into the Relay program. It stays protected on your PC and is only ever sent to Cloudflare. A key made under "Manage Account" works too.
5. In game, on your guild master character, type /uq hall claim and type the six-figure code into the Set up page. Then type /reload once so the game saves it.
6. Choose a short name for the hall's address and press Set up the hall. Leave "Account id" empty unless your key reaches more than one account.
About a minute after you press "Set up the hall" the Relay program tells you your hall's address. A new address can take a few minutes to open. Share it with the guild.
On the Look page you choose the hall's name, colours, crest and welcome. Until you pick colours of your own, the hall takes your guild tabard's colours. Switch on "Follow my guild tabard" on the Look page to go back to the tabard's colours. Following the tabard needs the newest addon and Relay program, and a guild tabard designed at a tabard vendor in game.
On the Guild chat page you choose off, members only, or public. Chat reaches the hall only after the guild master types /uq community enable once in game (and /uq community screen enable for chat while Live).

After buying: set up your hall
You do. Your hall runs on your own free Cloudflare account and keeps running if our site is down. Only updates and the licence check come from us.
Your hall is live while the guild master's Relay runs with Live on and the guild master has typed /uq hearth live on in game, with the game in front. Otherwise it updates at /reload or logout, because that is when the game writes the saved file the Relay program reads.
Nothing. Cloudflare's free plan allows 100,000 requests a day. An open hall asks for news every 10 seconds while your guild is live, so that is about 250 hours of people watching a live hall each day; past that the hall pauses until midnight UTC. It never bills you, and no card is needed.
Only the guild master, proven in game: the Relay program's Set up page asks for the six-figure code that /uq hall claim shows on the guild master character, good for ten minutes. The rest of the guild needs only the free addon. The hall is fed by the guild master's Relay program alone.
One licence is for one guild's hall. Each guild that wants a hall needs its own licence, bought by its own guild master.
The key stays in your order. On a new PC, paste the same key again and set up again with the same hall name: the hall and everything on it stay as they are.
The Relay program asks once, then moves your hall to it. Its address stays the same. Nothing moves until you say yes, so an alt that leads a bank guild never moves it by surprise. Moving the hall needs the newest Relay program: download it again from this page.
The hall keeps its crest, its welcome, its chat choice and the members passphrase. It takes the new guild's name, roster and ranks, and the new tabard's colours unless you picked your own. What it showed of the old guild (its roster, today's lines and chat) is cleared. The same licence goes with it.
Only if you choose. In the Relay program you pick off, members only, or public. Public means anyone on the internet can read it. Members only uses a passphrase you share in game. Chat reaches the hall only after the guild master types /uq community enable once in game (and /uq community screen enable for chat while Live).
If you pick off, nobody can read your chat on the hall or see when a line was said. Members only works the same for anyone without the passphrase. The fire flares up at a chat line only for people who may read the chat. Its level still grows with chat for everyone, so a busy evening of chat still shows in the fire.
No. The Relay program makes the hall for you and updates it with one click. The one thing you do by hand is make a key on your Cloudflare account and paste it into the Relay program once.
In the Relay program open Guild Hall, then Status. It says how your hall is doing and what to do next. "Check the hall" asks your hall whether it is well.

Ask for a refund within 14 days if the hall could not be set up. After a refund the licence key stops working and your hall gets no more updates: they stop within a day. The hall you already built keeps working as it is. The refund policy has the details.
